Information on this page will help you plan your visit to Historic Fort Wayne
Hours of Operation
Beginning the first weekend in May until the last weekend in October, the fort is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 4pm. The fort hosts special programs on other days, too (see the Events page). Additionally, group tours are available on weekdays (see below).
Secured, on-site parking is free!
Guided Walking Tours
Guided walking tours Saturday & Sunday at 11am and 2pm are optional - but highly recommended - and available for $5.00/ person. Expect the tour to last between 1 and 1.5 hours. In addition to regular weekend tours, group tours are often available on weekdays by appointment (minimum 4 adults). To inquire about a weekday group tour (Mon - Thurs), contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note: On some weekends, tours will be unavailable while private events (like weddings, corporate team building, etc.) take place within the star fort.
Tuskegee Airmen Museum
The National Museum of the Tuskegee Airmen is housed at Historic Fort Wayne. Their hours are often by appointment. Visit their site to learn more.
