No nonprofit corporation can operate without monetary funding. The Historic Fort Wayne Coalition is no Exception. We want to take a moment and thank all of the donors who help us move forward by providing much needed funding. the list below is broken down in to three categories. Thank you again.

Individual Donors
Doug Nosbich Doug made a sizable monetary donation to the HFWC that makes continued work on the fort possible. Thank you Doug!
Kathy Bradford

Through her efforts raising money for preservation by making “Canada Hats” worn by the 4th Michigan, Kathy raised $505.30 that was presented to the HFWC at the Light Infantry Drill in November 2008.  Kathy continues to this effort even now.

Organizational Donors
Robert Finch Camp #14, SUVCW The Robert Finch Camp has joined as an organizational member for 2010 and 2011. Welcome and thanks for your support!
The 4th Texas During the Wolcott Mill event in 2009 $640 was raised and donated to the Coalition by the 4th Texas.
Mudsills The Mudsills donated $1350 to the Coalition to help continue the work being done at the Fort.
24th Michigan Vol. Infantry The 24th Michigan Volunteer Infantry reenacting group donated $500 to support on going restoration at Historic Fort Wayne.
17th Michigan, Co. E Inc. The 17th Michigan, Co. E Inc. provided the monetary funding for rebuilding casemate #3.
14th South Carolina The 14th South Carolina reenacting group has shown their support by making a monetary donation to the Coalition for Fort preservation.
Friends of Michigan History The Friends Board of Directors took a tour of the Fort in August 2007 and then graciously gave a monetary donation for window restoration.
17th Michigan, Co. E Inc.

In October 2008, the 17th Michigan again supported the restoration efforts at the Fort.  This time they gave $500.00 to start funding to replace the back steps to the Commandant’s House.

Colonial Dames in the State of Michigan At their annual meeting in October 2008, the Colonial Dames presented the HFWC with a check for $400.00 to provide additional funding for the back steps to the Commandant’s House.
Friends of Michigan History

At their November 2008 meeting, the Friends of Michigan History provided the last $200.00 needed to replace the back steps to the Commandant’s House.  When this project is complete, visitors will once again be able to safely flow in one side of the house and out the other, making visitor flow much easier.

Corporate Donors
Strategy One Microsystems Strategy One Computer Service Center in Southgate, Michigan donated $300 of computer equipment to the Historic Fort Wayne Coalition.
Educational Donors
Scranton Middle School PTA Scranton Middle School donated $300 to the Coalition after a day long school presentation
Chatterton Middle School Chatterton Middle School donated $250 to support the Coalition's efforts after a day long school presentation.
Richards Middle School Richards Middle School donated $2500 to the Coalition to after the 8th grade enjoyed an overnight field trip to the fort.
