The HFWC holds monthly workdays every month except for December.  Workdays are held from 9am – 5pm on a Saturday.  This is an opportunity for every member of the organization who desires to come out, visit with other members and help in the cleaning up and restoration of Historic Fort Wayne.  Workdays every other month also hold the organizations bi-monthly business meeting.  No matter what the task of the day may be, it is always a day full of smiles, laughs and fun at Historic Fort Wayne.  In the case of the May 2006 workday, this work was done at the same time as an event at the Fort.  Members work to clear the outer moat of the Fort of vegetation that wouldn’t have been there.
