Civil War Days is the flagship event for our organization. It's our best time of year to bring the Fort to life as it was during one of the eras the Fort served our country. In 2010, Civil War Days was held July 10 and 11. Over 300 Union, Confederate and Civilian living historians and behind-the-scenes HFWC volunteers dedicated their weekend to making the event a success. In addition, countless HFWC volutneers worked to improve the look of the site through grounds care, site prep and historic restoration.

Unofficial Videos

Several participants made videos of their experiences at Civil War Days. These videos are their own content and choices but do a good job telling part of the story of the weekend. These links will take you to their privately made videos at YouTube.
